Pratyush Das believes that bringing people together and learning from each other helps make us a stronger community. Through his experiences, both work and volunteer, he has gained both a public and private sector perspective on how to engage and work with diverse stakeholders.
Pratyush has been a board member for the Saskatchewan Intercultural Association (SIA) since 2013. During his time on the board, he served on SIA’s Sponsorship and Event Organizing Committee, helping to plan celebrations to mark the organization’s 50th Anniversary, as well as developing and implementing a marketing plan to promote the event and raise SIAs profile in the community. He also had the opportunity to work with SIA’s Equity and Anti-Racism Committee to promote greater understanding of different cultures in Saskatchewan.
He currently works at Tourism Saskatchewan and is passionate about market research and developing creative marketing plans. He graduated with a BSc in Economics & Computer Science from the University of Windsor and a MBA from Schulich School of Business, York University. He currently lives in Saskatoon with his wife Christina.
Pratyush Das was elected to the SaskCulture Board in 2015. He was re-elected in 2018 for a two-year term.
