Canada Council announces the development of a new arts funding model
The Canada Council for the Arts has announced that throughout the next two years it will be moving towards the implementation of a new suite of national, non-disciplinary programs and that the number of funding programs will be drastically reduced in order to more effectively support Canada's artistic ecosystem in the 21st century. The amount of arts funding that is delivered to artists and arts organizations will not decrease. Read more on the Canada Council website.
