James Ingold

Joining SaskCulture near the end of his university studies in 2009 was James' first introduction to working on a board. The rapid education that ensued sparked a passion in him for good governance, leadership and - more fundamentally - a deeper appreciation for the rich cultural landscape of Saskatchewan.

Following on this passion, James has since contributed to local, provincial, and national organizations including the National Trust for Canada and the Saskatchewan Ecomuseums Initiative. He has also remained involved with SaskCulture as Past Chair representing the organization at numerous events and serving on Creative Kids and other committees. As a software development professional working for iQmetrix, James has also facilitated community funding through organizing sponsorships and volunteering.

Saskatchewan's long history of volunteerism, civic engagement and multiculturalism is an example that James seeks to honour and support. SaskCulture is an organization whose vision and mission he is proud to serve.

James served on the SaskCulture Board from 2009-2016 with a term of President/Chair from 2012-2014.
