Walking Together: A Sharing Circle Gathering for Truth and Reconciliation

On the path to reconciliation, we must walk together. This gathering, hosted by The People Bridge Advocacy, is dedicated to bringing all communities together — Indigenous and non-Indigenous- to reflect on the truths of Residential Schools and to build understanding, healing, and unity.

Our theme, From Reflection to Reconciliation, invites participants to move beyond awareness into meaningful action that honours Survivors, remembers those who never returned home, and strengthens relationships across communities.

The day will include:
Four Direction Prayer and Smudging – Elder Wallace Awasis
Knowledge Sharing: History of Residential Schools – Maurina Gardipy, IRS Survivor
Linking the Past to the Present – Elder Rick Daniels, Recon Saskatoon
Music and Language – Jason Chamakese (Flute)
Medicines – NeepSee Herbs, North Battleford
Newcomers Building Relationships – April Sora & Dr. Judy White
Land Sharing: Treaty Land Sharing Network – Amy Seesequasis
Lunch and refreshments will be served.

Why attend? Because reconciliation is not just a moment — it is a shared journey. This is a space to listen deeply, reflect honestly, and join hands with others in fostering a future built on respect, empathy, and action.

Registration is free, but space is limited. Reserve your spot and be part of this important step in our collective journey toward reconciliation.
