The Grounds Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the Museum grounds to ensure safety and visitor satisfaction. Weekend work is required.
Only students continuing full time post-secondary studies in the fall semester will be considered. This position has not yet been created and is subject to the availability of funding through the Young Canada Works program and the Canada Summer Jobs Program.
DUTIES:
• Maintain lawns including watering, mowing, and trimming large areas.
• Trim caragana’s and other trees on the grounds including fruit trees.
• Maintain garden areas including preparing area for planting, planting, upkeep including
watering and weeding.
$13 to $15 an hour
Employee Benefits Plan as per WDM Human Resource Policies
Term: May 2 - August 21, 2021
Hours: 8 hours a day - 40 hours per week, will include weekends
