Saskatchewan Drama Association prides itself on delivering efficient, effective pro-grams across Saskatchewan. The key to our success is largely dependent on the stellar ability of our program management team. We’re currently searching for a program manager to join SDA and continue our tradition of success. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to strategize and implement program initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong talent for program coordination. The successful candidate must be motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture program suc-cess from inception to completion. Ultimately, you must have a strong interest in dra-ma and theatre education. This is a fulltime four month term position that may extend to longer.
Objectives of this Position
Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives, specifically on-line pro-grams that adhere to SDA’s strategical objectives
Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
Oversee and ensure program goals are reached
Manage on-line program budgets and funding channels for maximum productivity
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Work closely with the Executive Director to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
Develop and manage budget for programs and be accountable for delivering against established SDA’s goals/objectives for the program
Work with SDA’s partners to identify risks and opportunities across several programs and services
Analyze, evaluate, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
Exceptional understanding of the use of digital communication and marketing tools
Program management experience is preferred
Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
Knowledge of performance evaluation processes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience related to drama and theatre for children and youth
Experience working in an Office environment
Knowledge and ability to use digital communication and marketing skills
Proven proposal writing experience
Knowledge of Sask Lotteries funding
Knowledge of Sask Culture and related Provincial Cultural Organizations
Knowledge of Saskatchewan Teachers Federation
Compensation
Starting $18. 00 per hour (40 hour work week)
Hours of work are 9:00 to 5:00, 5 days per week. Must be available to work some weekends, evenings, and at event sites when required
Candidates should work 1 or 2 days a week in the office but can work remotely if needed
