Grants Administrator

Are you ready to be a part of an inclusive work environment and engage with diverse peoples, worldviews, traditions and experiences? SaskCulture is seeking a Grants Administrator to support the work of the Program Team to deliver a variety of grant programming and services designed to actively engage communities and increase participation in cultural activity in Saskatchewan. The responsibilities of this full-time position include:

· Administrative and logistical processes including funding application eligibility assessment, volunteer peer assessor support, and record maintenance;

· Providing quality assurance and support to SaskCulture Outreach Consultants, Key Delivery Partners, and adjudication panels and ensuring compliance to SaskCulture and Trust policies;

· Database maintenance of a customized online granting platform that includes providing internal and client technical support;

· Financial administrative support including preparing and processing grant payment vouchers, month end reconciliations, grant award packages, and monitoring overdue grants;

· Responding to inquiries about funding programs, both verbal and written;

· Organizing meetings and adjudications (in person and virtual); and

· Other general administrative support to the Program Team as required.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be acquired through post-secondary education with at least five years’ experience in a non-profit or community organization, or a combination of relevant training and experience. The ideal candidate will possess experience in funding program delivery and quality assurance; knowledge of organizational development and non-profit governance and administration; database management and proficiency in computer applications; and strong communications skills. Familiarity and commitment to culture in Saskatchewan is a definite asset.

SaskCulture’s office is located in Regina and the preferred candidate shall be a resident of Regina. A hybrid flex/in office work model will be considered with a schedule for in-office days and remote work within SaskCulture’s core hours. The specifics will be tailored to meet the needs of the employee, team and SaskCulture.
