The Recreation and Community Services Culture & Heritage Specialist is responsible for development and delivery of effective and efficient heritage outreach programs and projects. Using the core values of respect, leadership, communication, teamwork, customer service and accountability, the Culture and Heritage Specialist shall:
1. Promote Yorkton’s tangible and intangible heritage, including the impact of multiculturalism on Yorkton's history
2. Develop content for social media posts
3. Develop and/or promote tours, displays and publications that promote Yorkton's history
4. Update, maintain and ensure the availability of publications relating to the promotion of Yorkton's Heritage
5. Promote Heritage Fairs, through Heritage Saskatchewan, to Yorkton schools and youth groups.
