Position Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Communications Coordinator assists with the strategic oversight, development, implementation, and evaluation of all external communications efforts for Common Weal Community Arts. They are a champion for the organization, with a passion for building relationships with diverse stakeholders and the public. They are comfortable liaising with media, thrive within fast-paced working conditions, and stay atop current affairs to address and thoughtfully communicate issues across a variety of platforms.

Anticipated start date: Monday, March 6th (Flexible)
The ideal Communications Coordinator will possess: Demonstrated knowledge of wise practices in nonprofit communications; experience in brand and social media management, as well as a keen eye for design; an understanding of social justice issues locally, nationally, and internationally; a commitment to working collaboratively.
