The WDM Moose Jaw is hiring a Programs and Volunteer Coordinator who supports the WDM in achieving its public trust responsibilities through the delivery of comprehensive and dynamic learning programs for diverse audiences and implements the WDM Volunteer Program locally.
The Programs and Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for:
• Implementing a variety of learning strategies to engage diverse audiences.
• Planning, coordinating and delivering school and public programs, both on and off site.
• Assisting teachers and groups in planning, coordinating and managing Museum visits.
• Administering the WDM Volunteer Program locally including recruiting, orientation, training and evaluation of volunteers and volunteer activities.
A detailed job description outlining duties, accountabilities, working conditions and salary is available at www.wdm.ca/careers. The work schedule is 72 hours per 2-week pay period. Evening and weekend work may be required.
The WDM provides a substantial benefits package with paid sick leave benefits as well as employer-paid health and dental benefits. WDM employees belong to the Public Employees Pension Plan with employee contributions being matched by the employer.
