The Western Development Museum - Corporate Office in Saskatoon is seeking an Executive Assistant, responsible for providing comprehensive support to the CEO, Board of Directors, and Executive Team. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

The Executive Assistant will be responsible for:
• Providing calendar management for the CEO and serving as the primary point of contact all matters pertaining to the CEO.
• Completing a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the WDM. This includes preparing and reviewing complex documents and reports.
• Working closely with the CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
• Providing support to the Board of Directors.
• Maintaining up-to-date Board policies and manage board documents.
• Monitoring projects and assignments to ensure they are completed appropriately.

The successful candidate for Executive Assistant will:
• Have business administration education and a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Be an excellent communicator who can effectively build relationships internally and externally.
• Have strong organization skills with the ability to identify and manage competing priorities.
• Have an eye for detail to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience working at museums, heritage or other cultural and charitable organizations is an asset.

The WDM provides a substantial benefits package with paid sick leave benefits as well as employer paid health and dental benefits. WDM employees belong to the Public Employees Pension Plan with employee contributions being matched by the employer.
