The new Nutrien Children’s Discovery Museum is looking for a new team member to coordinate our communications and marketing needs. We’re looking for someone who can help us keep visitors, donors, community groups, and schools informed and engaged. Our mission is to nurture creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in children. Our team members are energetic and adaptive professionals who are excited by the changes taking place in our organization as we evolve into a world-class children’s museum.

POSITION: Communications and Marketing Coordinator
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: part-time position, roughly 15-20 hours per week
COMPENSATION: $28-32 per hour, plus benefits
START DATE: August 15, 2018
POSITION SUMMARY: The Communications and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the planning, development, production, and evaluation of all public relations, marketing, and sales activities for the Museum. This position ensures all communications representing the Museum positively reflect the Museum’s strategy and brand.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in internal and external communications, marketing, graphic design, social media marketing preferred. A lifetime love of learning and natural curiosity required. Must be pleasant mannered in dealing with public and representing agency, work well under stress and must be able to work well independently. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
