Dance Saskatchewan Inc. (DSI) is a non-profit organization established to serve and support the development and delivery of dance throughout Saskatchewan. We facilitate the creation and sharing of dance, gather and distribute dance information, advocate and promote dance, and enable dance accessibility through programs and funding.

DSI supports approximately 350 members, reflecting the involvement of roughly 7,500 dancers, dance educators and dance enthusiasts and representing a range of ages, cultures and dance styles.

DSI has undergone incredible change over the past 4 years and is primed to find a creative, energetic and focused leader to take it to the next level. It is proud of:

* a brand new fully customized, multi-use 10,000 square foot building;
* Canada's largest dance resource lending library;
* outreach programs to rural communities, as well as schools and agencies that value and utilize arts as a development tool;
* a committed and resourceful staff team;
* renewed Strategic Plan for 2019 - 2022

The Person: Key Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

Knowledge & Experience Required
* a degree in business, administration, theatre/art/education with a minimum of 5 years of relevant leadership and management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* demonstrated proficiency in fiscal management, business finance and budgeting
* successful report writing including experience in grant and proposal applications
* experience working in a non-profit sector or community organization is preferred
* experience in working with a wide stakeholder audience including government agencies, the public, and business partners
