The Government House Historical Society (GHHS) is seeking an Archivist to create a catalog of photographic and documentary materials located in Saskatchewan’s Lieutenant Governor’s Office, Government House, and the GHHS. Under the project terms, our Archivist will appraise the scope of the project work including the collection, review and digitization of existing material while researching software applications and enterprise content management solutions. Reporting directly to the GHHS Board, the Archivist will work with partner groups to create policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practices, influence ongoing content management by material owners and plan for digital accessibility by the general public.

You will have:
 An undergraduate degree, college diploma or a combination of experience & education in a related discipline
 Knowledge of and experience in content management software
 Extensive experience with a variety of software applications
 Excellent research skills
 Demonstrated written, verbal and listening skills; and
 An interest and/or experience in the heritage sector and the preservation of historical materials.
