CARFAC Saskatchewan Visual Artists
CARFAC SASK promotes the well-being of visual artists in Saskatchewan, enhances the development of the visual arts as a profession, represents artists in the advancement of their common interests, and assists artists in their negotiations with individuals and institutions. Programs include professional development on topics such as the business of art, photographing art, artist's rights, tax issues, conservation principles, and writing artist statements. A mentorship program seeks to create opportunities for productive working relationships between experienced artists, artists beginning to develop their careers, and mid-career artists who wish to change media. Panels and symposia discuss issues, concerns and passions. Member benefits are available.
