National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

December 6

December 6 commemorates the murder of 14 women in the Polytechnique Montréal shooting of 1989. This act of violence was driven by misogyny and we remember the 14 women who lost their lives on this day:

We remember them and recommmit ourselves to acting to end gender-based violence and discrimination.
