Application Assistance

We can help with Access

SaskCulture strives to be accessible and supportive to applicants throughout the granting process. Please contact an Outreach Consultant for resources available and advice. Here are some answers to your questions.

Funding
Accessibility Fund
This Fund aims to provide support to organizations led by individuals who experience barriers and would benefit from support in applying for SaskCulture grant programs.

If English is your second language

Can I read the grant information in a language other than English?

You can use the Google Translate option to view the content in your preferred language. Simply select your desired language from the translation tool on our site.

If you face barriers

I use a screen reader and I want to apply for a grant

The layout of the applications should be readable with your screen reader and/or voice-to-text tools. If you continue to face challenges, please contact an Outreach Consultant who can help clarify the application questions and format.

I need to access the application in another format

An accessibility widget has been added to the SaskCulture Website and Online Grant Platform. Please use the tools to adjust the font size, page contrast, text pacing, as well as cursor and link highlights.

How do I create an Online Grant Portal account?

If this website is challenging

What should I do if this website is challenging to use?

We are working towards making our websites and digital services accessible and user-friendly for everyone, regardless of your ability, age, or the technology you use. SaskCulture is working towards Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA compliance. Change is still in progress to update the website in these areas.

Our ongoing commitment to website accessibility includes:

  • Using Alternative Text (Alt Text) for images;
  • Editing content for plain language;
  • Implementing closed captioning for videos,
  • Creating accessible PDFs;
  • Using easy access to Google Translate for multilingual support; and
  • Providing support to those facing barriers.

The best way for us to improve accessibility is to hear back from users. Please share your challenges with us directly, and we will work to improve the user experience.

If you require any assistance during the application process, please do not hesitate to contact us at 306-780-9284, toll-free: 1-866-476-6830 or info@saskculture.ca.

We are Treaty people

SaskCulture's work and support reaches lands covered by Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10, the traditional lands of the Cree, Dakota, Dene, Lakota, Nakota and Saulteaux peoples, as well as homeland of the Métis.

We aim to be accessible and safe for everyone

Our office, including front door and washrooms, is wheelchair-accessible (building access at Cornwall Street entrance) during regular office hours. A proud supporter of safer and inclusive spaces initiatives, we are committed to a workplace free from hate, discrimination or harassment, where everyone is welcome.
