Creative Kids

Creative Kids connects children and youth to unique, life-changing artistic and cultural experiences in their community. Creative Kids provides financial support to Saskatchewan families so all kids have an opportunity to participate in creative activities like drama, art, dance, heritage, and music.

Creative Kids believes:

  • cultural and creative activities are fundamental to the positive growth and development of children and youth.
  • cultural and creative activities are critical to a healthy, vibrant community.
  • all children and youth should have the opportunity to participate in cultural and creative activities regardless of economic or social barriers.

SaskCulture’s Role in Creative Kids

Creative Kids is a program of SaskCulture. SaskCulture provides all administrative funding to Creative Kids, so 100% of all donations and sponsorships go directly to supporting kids.

We are Treaty people

SaskCulture's work and support reaches lands covered by Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10, the traditional lands of the Cree, Dakota, Dene, Lakota, Nakota and Saulteaux peoples, as well as homeland of the Métis.

We aim to be accessible and safe for everyone

Our office, including front door and washrooms, is wheelchair-accessible (building access at Cornwall Street entrance) during regular office hours. A proud supporter of safer and inclusive spaces initiatives, we are committed to a workplace free from hate, discrimination or harassment, where everyone is welcome.
