Victoria Day is a statutory holiday that celebrates the birthday of Queen Victoria, usually on May 24 (though the day will move to the 25, if the 24 is a Sunday), but always marked on the first Monday before the 25 of May. In Quebec, the day has been celebrated as Journée nationale des patriotes (National Patriotes Day) since 2002.
