Student Work Placement Program for Cultural Sector Launched

The Student Work Placement (SWP) program for the Canadian cultural sector, which aims to connect students to Canadian cultural sector employers with wage subsidies for placements that offer students relevant work experience to their field of study, was launched with funding from Employment and Social Development Canada, the Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC). Eligible employers and students may receive a wage subsidy of up to 75%, to a maximum of $7,500 until March 31, 2022. Employers interested in taking part in the program may apply here.
