Provincial arts funding due for an increase, says SAA
In its most recent news bulletin, the Saskatchewan Arts Alliance (SAA) highlighted the need for increased funding for the arts in Saskatchewan. In advance of the next provincial budget day on March 22, SAA is encouraging the arts community to write to their elected officials in support of increasing arts spending.
While time is running out for this year, it is never too late to promote the importance of arts to the people of this province. Arts and creativity are integral to the lives of the people of Saskatchewan, and artists and arts organizations are essential to ensuring that art is made and remains accessible to all.
