Regina performing arts groups struggling

Several longstanding local arts groups are facing major financial struggles, according to a recent article by the Regina Leader-Post. Among the groups, which include the Regina Fringe Festival and the Regina Symphony Orchestra, a common thread is the rise in costs and a lower number of attendees since the pandemic. With organizations experiencing similar struggles across Saskatchewan and the country as a whole, the Canadian Arts Coalition recently launched the ArtsVote campaign, urging political parties to include arts and culture in their platforms for the upcoming federal election.
