Increasing access to the arts in classrooms

Since 2023, the Artists in Schools program has reached over 7,600 young participants across 21 communities, engaging them in meaningful artistic experiences. During this time, the program has received more than $416,000 in Sask Lotteries funding to support 57 projects connecting professional artists with students across Saskatchewan. These projects expand access to meaningful arts experiences and help inspire students’ lifelong interest in the arts.

Artists in Schools is a SK Arts program, delivered in partnership with SaskCulture and the Ministry of Education. The next deadline to apply to the program is November 5. Read more
