Ana Cristina Camacho, who has been part of SaskCulture’s Communications team since 2022, will be leaving her role as Communications Coordinator at the end of August to pursue a master’s degree in Folklore at the Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Ana Cristina first joined SaskCulture as Communications Assistant and later moved into the Coordinator role. Her communications and cultural sector experience, creativity and innovative ideas have contributed greatly to the team’s work. Among her many contributions, Ana Cristina worked alongside the Communications team to launch SaskCulture’s podcast and helped develop a more seamless digital version of Engage magazine. SaskCulture thanks Ana Cristina for her contributions and wishes her all the best in this next chapter.
With Ana Cristina’s departure, Hannah Williams, formerly Communications Assistant, is transitioning into the Communications Coordinator role. Hannah will coordinate SaskCulture’s publications and support communications for Creative Kids.
SaskCulture is pleased to welcome Jamila AbdulCader (she/her), who joins the team as Communications Assistant this August. Jamila brings more than 10 years of experience in communications and advertising and holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Bedfordshire in the United Kingdom.
