In this down to earth class, you will learn how to use tarot as a tool for divination, guidance or self-reflection discussing the archetypes and symbols used to tell the story in the cards.
There is no need to memorize the meanings of 78 cards: Susie will help break down the tarot system in a way that is easy to understand. This workshop is perfect for those new to tarot or those wanting to feel more comfortable reading the cards for themselves or others. You will be provided with lots of resources for further learning on your own as you continue on your tarot journey!
Students must have a tarot deck with traditional symbolism such as Rider-Waite-Smith, Thoth, Halloween Tarot, Robin-Wood Tarot etc. If you have questions about which Tarot deck to use, please contact the AGR, and we will put you in touch with Susie.
DO NOT use an Angel Deck or Oracle Cards for this workshop!
Presented alongside, Ritual & Lore, these workshops enrich the understanding of techniques used by artists in our September - October main gallery exhibition.
