The Prairie Rivers Reconciliation Committee's 3rd annual Rural Reconciliation Educational Gathering is sponsored by Federated Co-operatives Ltd. and will highlight success stories and teachings that move us forward on the path of reconciliation together.
The conference will kick-off with fantastic performances on Sunday Nov. 7th at 7pm. Conference sessions will be held at 1:00-4:30pm on the following days. Monday Nov. 8th has a youth focus and is sponsored by Dakota Dunes CDC. Tuesday Nov. 9th has an education focus and is sponsored by Carlton Trail College. Wednesday Nov. 10th has a focus on business and is sponsored by the City of Martensville.
Performers include: musicians Chubby Cree and Sky Boyz, and comedians Shawn Cuthand, Danny Knight and Jody Peters.
Educational speakers include: Knowledge Keeper Gilbert Kewistep; athletes Colby Daniels and Sydney Daniels; Indigenous awareness educator Winston McLean; leaders in economic development in Saskatchewan; and some of our own PRRC committee members!
