Join us for the celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day!

The Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Network (EDIN) invites you immerse yourself in the vibrant spirit of National Indigenous Peoples Day as we come together to honor and celebrate the remarkable contributions of Indigenous peoples.

Prepare for incredible Indigenous performances, engaging family-friendly activities, children’s crafts, and Indigenous artistry in conjunction with the Regina Farmers' Market Cooperative!

Here is what you can expect:

🌟 Grand Entry: The celebration will kick off with a Grand Entry at 11 a.m. in Victoria Park, setting the stage for a great day ahead.

🌟 Indigenous Performances: Enjoy Indigenous performers as they share their traditions and stories through music, dance, and theater with the Creeland Dancers, Dean Smith Band, Kawacatoose Boys including a drum group and Powwow Dancers.

Our special guest and host, Zoey Roy— Nehiyaw, Dené and Métis Spoken-Word Artist, Ph.D. candidate, artist, activator, and aunty—will help bring inspiration and awareness to our day of celebrations. 🌟Family-Friendly Activities: Bring your loved ones and enjoy a range of engaging activities designed for all ages from including face painting, First Nations cultural teachings, Métis jigging, Cree syllabics, Inuit games, beaded keychains, Red River Cart, NIPD button making, and a coloring station.

🌟Indigenous Craft Fair with the Regina Farmers’ Market: Discover remarkable creations by Indigenous artisans.
