Kris Alvarez is a theatre maker who uses art to build community through creative events in support of multiculturalism and anti-racism. Over the past few years, her show Burnt Sienna has gathered communities to open dialogue and minds through the sharing of food, humour, and cross-cultural perspectives.
What to expect:
In this brand new hybrid of performance & workshop, we will get comfortable in our seats as audience, then dive into candid conversations and playfully creative activities. The experience intends to share and practice community building skills, grow our empathy & cross-cultural understanding of how to serve communities in genuine, kind, inclusive and joyful ways.
