Workshop | Ukrainian Beading with Viktoriia Pirohova

In this exciting workshop, participants will create their very own Ukrainian beaded bracelet using a one-needle netting method based on the design and technique used for traditional Ukrainian necklaces. By the end of the workshop, you will leave with a beautiful bracelet and the skills and knowledge to continue beading solo!

This workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced beaders, and is recommended for ages 15 and up.

Saskatoon based Viktoriia Pirohova is a beadwork artist from Ukraine, now creating in Canada. Originally from Kyiv, she began working with beads in 2022 as a way to share and preserve Ukrainian culture abroad. Drawing on deep-rooted traditions, Viktoriia specializes in blending folk motifs with modern design, resulting in pieces that are both meaningful and beautifully unique.
