The Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild is excited to present Talking Fresh 2026: Foundations in-person on Saturday, March 14 and online on March 5, 10, 11, and 12th.
Foundations exist everywhere in real life. They are the physical base of structures, rules for living our everyday lives, and agreed-upon procedures for our institutions. How does this show up in writing? Foundations give writers strength and connection to the craft of writing, literary traditions and communities of other writers. This festival asks us to consider what the important foundations for writing are. How can we lay foundations for others to join us in our multiplicity of stories and experiences?
Featuring Canadian writers:
Jes Battis Kim Fahner Anne Fleming Katie Gies Michelle Good Lydia Kwa Judy I. Lin And more!
Free online events are held via Zoom on March 5, 10, 11 and 12.
Free in-person events are held on Saturday March 14 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Artesian (2627 13th Ave, Regina).
