I Have Had Singing: Songs of Building Community
Ablaze Vocal Arts Ensemble and Ignite Chamber Choir present their annual fundraiser concert "I Have Had Singing: Songs of Building Community".
This concert is an exploration of the various ways in which we build community through choral singing. Join us as we explore themes of togetherness, connection to the earth, reflections on the past, cherishing the 'now', and establishing community for future generations. Featuring works by Beatch, Jasperse, Martin, Sewepagaham, Whitacre, Wong, and more! The choirs are joined by guest musicians, percussionist Hannah Wildman and flautist Shina Colclough, collaborative pianist William Sgrazzutti, and led by Artistic Director Dorianna Holowachuk. Event includes a reception and door prizes.
