SaskOrchestras Summer String Experience
Does your child play violin, viola, cello, or bass — or dream of starting?
The Summer String Experience (July 13–17) is a week-long day camp in Saskatoon where young musicians build skills, confidence, and friendships through playing together.
Open to ages 4–16, SSE is designed for all levels.
We can help your child make their very first beautiful sounds — or refine and strengthen the skills they’ve been developing all year.
Students of all musical backgrounds are welcome, including classical and fiddle players. Whatever path your child is on, they’ll find encouragement, challenge, and a supportive community here.
What makes SSE special?
• Small group instruction tailored to level
• Ensemble playing that builds listening and teamwork
• Engaging, experienced teachers
• A welcoming, inclusive musical environment
• A final performance to celebrate the week’s progress
