Treaty 6 150th Commemorative Event

In 1876, First Nations and the Crown entered into Treaty 6 through gatherings at Fort Carlton (Aug 23), Chief Kamiscowesit’s (Beardy’s) Campsite (Aug 28), and Fort Pitt (Sept 9). In 2026 we acknowledge and honor 150 years of this shared treaty history at the commemorative event to honor 150 years.
