Why horses?
For Métis people, horses carry teachings of resilience, responsibility, and our relationship to the land. When youth connect with these four-legged relatives, they build confidence, cultural pride, and a sense of belonging. It’s healing, it’s grounding, and it’s how knowledge has been passed down for generations.
Program delivered by: Ryan & Crystal Williams, Lazy 8 Acres
Sponsored by: SaskCulture, Sask Lotteries & Gabriel Dumont Institute
To register: Please text Crystal Williams at Lazy 8 Acres 306-981-3004, if you can't text you can call, if no answer, please leave a message. All texts and call messages will be answered in order they were left.
Space is limited. We hope to see your youth there as we walk this journey together.
