Lyell Gustin Series Recital: Tracy Dahl, soprano, and Laura Loewen, piano
Canada’s premier coloratura soprano, Tracy Dahl, who has sung on prestigious stages around the world, gives the summer concert in the Lyell Gustin Recital Series. From her appearances in musical theatre to performances in finest venues across Europe and North America, Ms. Dahl has been praised for her beautiful silvery tone, marvellous vocal agility, and dramatic flair for both comedy and tragedy.
With her versatile and vivid collaborative pianist, Laura Loewen, Ms. Dahl will perform a delightful mixed program–songs of summer, love, and life: selections from opera and musical theatre, art song, works traditional and contemporary, including light-hearted pieces from John’s Greer’s A Sarah Binks Songbook.
