Ready to dive deeper into the creative possibilities of watercolour batik? Join artist Caron Dubnick at the Mann Art Gallery for a full-day workshop exploring this unique and expressive medium.
Watercolour batik combines the fluid qualities of watercolour with the traditional technique of using wax as a resist. Working on paper, participants will experiment with colour, layering, texture, and pattern to create vibrant, one-of-a-kind artworks.
Whether you’re completely new to the medium or an experienced artist looking to explore new techniques, this workshop offers a welcoming space to experiment, play, and develop your skills. Caron will guide participants through the process while allowing plenty of room for creative exploration.
