Ecosystems of Denial: Holodomor Negation in Past and Present

Join us on Ukrainian Famine and Genocide (Holodomor) Memorial Day for a timely lecture examining the history and enduring legacy of Holodomor denial.

Nearly a century after the 1932–33 famine, survivors and their descendants continue to commemorate the millions of lives lost, while others have sought to deny, minimize, or distort its history.

In this illustrated lecture, Dr. Henry H. Prown traces eff orts to obscure the famine from the 1930s to the present day, examining how denial has evolved and why historical truth continues to matter in the face of propaganda and disinformation.

Presented by Dr. Henry H. Prown, Holodomor Research and Education Consortium and University of Alberta.

No registration required.
