A group of children sitting on the floor in a classroom, facing a large monitor and raising their hands. Bookshelves line the back wall, and a person with a camera and lighting equipment is visible in the corner.

Inspiring creativity across Saskatchewan, the LIVE (Live Interactive Video Education) Arts program connects classrooms with professional artists for real-time experiences in the arts.

A person is seated in a classroom holding a microphone and a notebook, speaking with a child in the foreground. Other children are sitting nearby, and the background shows a chalkboard and bulletin boards.
"We have such an incredible artist community, and we can make those links and connections, bringing people together."
- Dash Reimer, program coordinator, LIVE Arts

Students explore visual arts, drama, music, and dance, discovering new ways to express themselves and connect through creativity.

"It's important to introduce students to professional artists, so that they grow up knowing that the arts are a viable pathway. I hope this lights a spark in them." - Dash Reimer, Program Coordinator, LIVE Arts

We are Treaty people

SaskCulture's work and support reaches lands covered by Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10, the traditional lands of the Cree, Dakota, Dene, Lakota, Nakota and Saulteaux peoples, as well as homeland of the Métis.

We aim to be accessible and safe for everyone

Our office, including front door and washrooms, is wheelchair-accessible (building access at Cornwall Street entrance) during regular office hours. A proud supporter of safer and inclusive spaces initiatives, we are committed to a workplace free from hate, discrimination or harassment, where everyone is welcome.
