Participate in a Research Study - RISE-C Study
RISE-C - RoAD Lab, Saskatchewan
Deadline: March 17, 2026 - October 31, 2026
We are currently recruiting participants for a study that aims to understand how internalized racism affects self-damaging urges (e.g., binge drinking, suicide, self-harm, and disordered eating urges).
You may be eligible if you:
- are a minimum of 16 years old
- are a person of colour
- live in Canada
- have been treated differently because of your race/ethnicity
- experience urges or desires to binge
- drink, engage in disordered eating
- behaviours, or self-harm/suicide.
Study involves:
- 1-2 hour online interview
- surveys about your mental health and wellbeing
- smartphone app with questions about your day-to-day experiences over approximately two weeks
