Digital Skills for Youth
Government of Canada,
Deadline: May 01, 2026 - May 22, 2026
The Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y) program will invest $11.9 million annually over two years, from 2026–27 to 2027–28, to support organizations that can help underemployed post-secondary graduatesFootnote1 gain work experience that builds their digital skills.
DS4Y is part of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS), an initiative involving several federal departments and agencies. DS4Y contributes to YESS programming by supporting, through wage-subsidy opportunities, youth who are more or less job-ready but who may require a first employment experience and skills development to enter and succeed in the labour market.
DS4Y has helped 6,900 youth since its launch in 2018.
