Do You Have an Open Grant? Things You Should Know
Sadly, many great cultural activities will be cancelled or postponed over the next few months. If you have already received a grant, you may be wondering what you need to do if your event or activity has been cancelled or postponed. Here are the key things you should know:
- Follow all provincial government and public health restrictions: currently, in Saskatchewan, the government has limited public gatherings to under 10 people and encourages social distancing. Keep watching government sites for updates.
- If you need to cancel or postpone, communicate this immediately to all interested parties: registered participants, ticket buyers, network mailing lists, social media followers, etc. Let them know if you have alternative plans.
- Make sure SaskCulture, or any other funders, are aware of any cancellation or postponements. Email or call an Outreach Consultant with updates. SaskCulture understands that there are still costs associated with cancelled or postponed events and encourages grant recipients to keep track.
- If your event or activity has already taken place, complete your follow-up report in SaskCulture's Online Grant Platform (OGP). If you have questions, Outreach Consultants are available by phone or email.
