Métis Cultural Development Fund opens

The Métis Cultural Development Fund (MCDF) is now open for applications. MCDF is offered in partnership with the Gabriel Dumont Institute (GDI) and funds activities that preserve, strengthen and transmit Métis culture and traditions in Saskatchewan. Contact, new Outreach Consultant, Carson McCaffrey. Deadline for applications is Oct. 1.

Congratulations goes to both David Morin in his new position as GDI's director of culture and heritage and for Karon Shmon's retirement from the role. Shmon remains as a cultural advisor to GDI. Read more
