Governance Basics Virtual Workshop with Dawn Martin

Using a model developed by the Ontario Non-Profit Network, this session will explore the fundamentals of non-profit governance. Dawn’s approach is to work with non-profits to build governance processes that meet organizations where they’re at, while still meeting the legal requirements imposed on boards of directors.

This workshop is for non-profit Board members and staff members.

BIO: Dawn Martin – Daybreak Consulting

Dawn Martin has served in a range of capacities both in government and as a private consultant. As a consultant, Dawn has spent 30 years assisting numerous agencies and non-profit organizations with strategic planning, performance measurement, governance, and organizational development.

Dawn’s approach to consulting in the nonprofit sector is thoughtful and pragmatic, meeting organizations where they are. She understands the issues and challenges that board volunteers face and is eager to provide organizations with guidance and support that will make a difference.
