Yorkton Library 100th Anniversary Community Art Project
The Library is pleased to celebrate the 100th Year Anniversary of the library in Yorkton and we are promoting this in conjunction with Culture Days.
For lasting remembrance, we are asking patrons of the library to join us in creating a large art piece that will be displayed above the Circulation Desk at the library. We would like each family unit that utilizes the library to complete a canvas panel with the family name and decorate/paint it in their own style. These panels will be sealed, mounted and become a lasting monument to the community reach of the Yorkton Library.
