Moose Jaw Co-op National Day For Truth & Reconciliation
MOOSE JAW, SK – The City of Moose Jaw is pleased to announce the Moose Jaw Coop National Day For Truth & Reconciliation event on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Temple Gardens Centre.
The event runs from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00p.m. and will feature several Indigenous presenters from Treaty 4 Territory and area who will share their story or teaching. The event is free and open to everyone. This event is proudly planned in collaboration with several local organizations and businesses who share a commitment to answering the 94 Calls to Action.
“In 2025, the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation continues to be a powerful moment in our shared journey,” said Mayor James Murdock. “It is a time to honour Indigenous cultures, recognize their enduring contributions, and come together as a community in the spirit of respect, reflection, and unity.”
This event will share multiple forms of Indigenous teachings for people of all ages, specific to our community. The event will be open to the public for free, thanks to local sponsors including Sask Lotteries and the title sponsor, Moose Jaw Co-op.
“The Moose Jaw Co-op is proud to be the title sponsor of National Truth & Reconciliation Day being held on September 30th,” said Geoff Anderson, CEO of the Moose Jaw Co-op. “We are honoured to support this important day of reflection, education, and unity as we walk together toward understanding and reconciliation.”
Doors will open shortly before the event begins and all attendees will have access to seats within the hockey arena bowl. There will also be tables on the concourse featuring local sponsors, organizations and vendors. In addition, all elementary and high schools in Moose Jaw will receive invitations from their school division as the event gets closer.
