Bordergrass alliance in concert

Presented by the Northern Lights Bluegrass and Old Time Music Society - Bordergrass Alliance brings together four seasoned musicians from both sides of the Canadian-American border. Members of BC’s Under The Rocks - Chris Baxter (banjo/mandolin/vocals) & Nils Loewen (bass), will be joined by a couple Americans - picker Mark Kilianski (guitar/vocals) from Golden Shoals, and award-winning songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Kian Dye (mandolin/fiddle), to celebrate traditional sounds while blending in their own backgrounds & styles to capture the spirit of bluegrass with foot-stomping energy, tight harmonies, and instrumental prowess. With a deep respect for the classics, mastery of their respective instruments & an undeniable chemistry on stage, this band is a must-see for bluegrass fans on both sides of the border.
