Supporting Within Your Means

Most of the population either has experienced a mental health problem themselves or has a family member or close friend that has experienced one. People who believe that others will be there to support them have better outcomes in terms of both mental and physical health. But how do we offer this support? This workshop is a review of signs and symptoms of common mental health problems, including anxiety, depression, and substance use. Participants will gain practical tools to support others within one’s means and skills to provide initial help to individuals experiencing a mental health concern.

SaskCulture is please to partner with Bridges Health to discuss tips on how to approach and navigate difficult conversations with family members, friends, or co-workers.

Location: Zoom Virtual Event
