Surfaced: Sabine Wecker
Wecker is a ceramic artist working in sculptural and functional clay.
She was educated in ceramics in Germany, and after a 20-year break dove back into clay at the U of R completing a BFA in Visual Arts with Great Distinction in 2021 and a MFA in Visual Arts in 2024.
Wecker has an interest in art history as well as craft theory, which goes hand-in-hand with her research projects.
