This monthly program invites community members to come together around selected video screenings followed by open, facilitated discussions. The goal is to create a space where people can reflect on shared themes, listen to different perspectives, and connect with others in a thoughtful and respectful environment. Through conversation and storytelling, participants are encouraged to share their experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another.
THREADS in Community takes place at The Refinery and will continue as a monthly program until the end of the year. Each session focuses on themes that invite reflection on identity, culture, history, and the many experiences that shape our communities. The format allows space for both quiet reflection and active participation, making it a welcoming environment for newcomers and long-time community members alike.
