Step inside the vault and see the Mann Art Gallery’s permanent collection from a whole new perspective!
Join Prince Albert artist George Glenn for Drawn from the Vault, a three-hour still life drawing workshop inspired by artworks from the Mann Art Gallery’s permanent collection. This special evening invites participants to slow down, look closely, and explore the collection through the act of drawing.
George will lead participants through still life drawing exercises, offering guidance on observation, composition, proportion, and mark-making. The evening will feature a selection of artworks brought out from the Gallery’s collection, providing a unique opportunity to study and draw from works that aren’t always on public display.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply curious to try your hand at drawing, this workshop offers a chance to connect with the Gallery’s collection in a hands-on and creative way.
Come draw from the vault and discover the collection through your own eyes.
All skill levels are welcome. No charge for participation. Please bring your favourite drawing supplies and paper. Other basic supplies (pencils, pastels) will be available at the gallery. There is a maximum of 12 participants so register soon!
